Our range of workshops explore STEM, Engineering, Motivation, Science, Computing, Maths, Geography and Healthy Living subjects.

If you see a workshop you like but need it for a specific keystage, please get in touch, we're happy to adapt to your needs.

Computational Thinking

Young people will think like a computer by learning about the four fundamental principles of computational thinking, and applying these to a range of real life challenges and puzzles.

Robot Quest

Young people are introduced to modern uses of robotics before they are tasked with coding a Sphero robot around obstacles.

Power to Drive

Miniature electric cars are built to demonstrate some of the principles of gears, before the young people then use the cars to understand the relationship between voltage input and distance travelled.

What's a Watt

The terms power, watts, energy, joules and calories are explored and put into context using rowing machines to demonstrate the differences and contextualise how much this really is.

Tower Tussle delivery

Tower Tussle

Students are introduced to the concept of buildings that adapt to their environment, before being challenged to build either an earthquake or hurricane resistant tower.

A series of fun games and challenges will demonstrate to young people the soft skills they excel in, and how they can practice these to use in their future lives.

Building Bridges

A fun series of engineering challenges where young people build bridges of varying styles and strengths.

STEM Careers in Sport

This session uses four different pieces of equipment (kick speed test, football shoot out, the Batak board and rowing machines) to allow students to see the link between STEM and the world of sports.

quizdoms - students

Qwizdom

A quiz using audience response system 'Qwizdom' to give a competitive flair. Students work in teams to establish the correct answer and earn enough points to be the winner on a range of topics linked to STEM.

CODE BREAKING workshop image

Crack the Code

Students learn about codes, what they are and their use in society, before attempting to crack a series of codes, each one requiring a different technique to the last.

We are committed to delivering an exceptional educational experience for your young people in a range of subjects including Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) plus Geography, Computing and Healthy Living subjects.

If you see a workshop subject you want but it isn't in the keystage needed, please get in touch and we may be able to adapt or recommend something to suit.

After your enquiry, we will be in touch to discuss your needs. We will supply a quote and possible timetable.

To proceed and secure your date,we will send a confirmation form and invoice for 25%.

Staff will arrive on the day around 7.30am to set up. We will require parking for a large van.

Every workshop is finished with an evaluation form. At the end of the day, staff need 30 minutes to tidy, clear the room and pack van.
